Before a hotel welcomes its first guests, there is an important period when every space, finish and system needs careful attention.

During a hotel's pre-opening, Khalid was involved daily in the snagging process. He saw how much there was to check beyond the first impression, and how easily an overlooked detail could become someone else's problem after opening.

A room could look beautifully presented while still needing work. Identifying those issues and bringing them to attention was an essential part of preparing the property for use.

That experience stayed with him. It became the starting point for an idea: giving people buying or receiving a property the opportunity to understand its condition before taking the next step.

Together with his son, Younes, Khalid turned that idea into Fedari.

Building Fedari as a father and son makes our commitment personal. Our reputation rests on the work we deliver and the way we treat the people who trust us.

That commitment is carried forward by our inspectors, the backbone of Fedari.

Each brings more than five years of property inspection experience. Between them, they have completed over 2,000 inspections throughout their careers, bringing practical knowledge and a trained eye to the properties they assess.

Their experience gives our founding idea its strength in practice: careful observation, well-documented findings and clear explanations that help clients understand what needs attention.

From the founders to the inspection team, we share responsibility for the quality of the service bearing the Fedari name.

Our name is inspired by the Arabic phrase في داري (“fi dari”), meaning “in my home.”

It is a simple expression with a personal meaning.

The properties we inspect become places where people welcome family, settle into everyday routines and make plans for the future. Our name keeps that human connection at the centre of our work.

Our roots are in the Netherlands, and we founded Fedari in the UAE, a country where people from many backgrounds build their futures. That connection between people, property and belonging is part of our own story, too.
